和獨立朋克廠牌Nitro旗下的眾多年輕的Punk樂隊不同，The Damned可的的確確是一支老資力的朋克組合！1977年，隨著樂隊衝撞（The Clash）和性手槍（Sex Pistols）的流行，英國青少年中爆發了一場轟轟烈烈的朋克革命。而早在前一年，The Damned就成立了，而且實際上The Damned才擁有更多的“最早”，包括英國最早的朋克單曲《New Rose》和最早的專輯《Damned Damned Damned》。2000年樂隊和Nitro唱片簽訂了合約，並於2001年發行了《Grave Disorder》，次年又在Sanctuary旗下發行了《I'm Alright Jack and the Bean Stalk》，2008年，他們又推出了名為《Best of Oddities and Versions》的精選集，30年過去了，The Damned依然充滿活力。 http://www.verycd.com/topics/231211/
