2004年發行的新版「Rumours」是兩張一套的CD，第一張是原專輯的11首歌加上Nicks主唱的"Silver Spring"，該曲當年只發行單曲，收錄於"Go Your Own Way"的單曲B面。第二張收錄的18曲總總長超過60分鐘、全部是以前沒有對外發表過的歌曲版本。"Think About It"後來出現於Stevie Nicks 1981年發行的首張個人專輯「Bella Donna」之中；"Planets Of The Universe"到2001年Nicks才於專輯「Trouble In Shangri-La」中收錄，除這兩首外其餘的試聽帶如Christine的"Butter Cookie"、Buckingham的"Doesn’t Anything Last"還有"For Duster"都沒有完成正式作品。

原「Rumours」專輯至今在美國銷售已超過一千八百萬張並早被視為七○年代最有代表性專輯之一。為紀念它發行屆滿二十年，1997年五位團員應MTV邀請齊聚一堂做了一場未插電的現場表演，這場歷史性演唱的記錄就是『The Dance』。
